When you update your Vista with the KB940150 patch and you may received a message regarding SL07-001 or other SL07 Activation Exploit being detected.
SL08-010 generally means your computer has a file which contains an exploit script and this file or script may be running.
It does not necessarily mean your version of Vista is not legitimate although this check is designed to detect a counterfeit copy of Vista.
Windows reports this when it finds the script on your computer. The script can get in your computer if you ran the script yourself or you downloaded a file which had the script embedded in it.
It is best to contact Microsoft Support to find out how to fix this SL08-010 message.
